1000 GIG transceivers and cables are covered by our lifetime warranty. The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use for the warranty period that applies to the 1000 GIG product you have purchased for as long as 1000 GIG or our partners continue to supply or manufacture the warranted product.
1000 GIG will provide customers with new, rebuilt, refurbished or alternate equipment of equal or improved quality, as exchange equipment (or part thereof) to replace eligible defective equipment. Any alternate equipment will meet or exceed the specifications of the replaced equipment.
The 1000 GIG lifetime warranty is non transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Warranty begins from the date of shipment from a 1000 GIG facility. The warranty is extended to products purchased, installed, and used for the purpose for which such equipment was originally designed.
The above warranties cover only defects arising under normal use and do not include malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, problems with electrical power, and usage not in accordance with product instructions, acts of nature, or improper installation or repairs made by anyone other than 1000 GIG or an authorised third-party service provider.
Once a return authorisation is obtained, the customer is responsible for packing and shipping the product to which its warranty claim relates to a service facility designated by 1000 GIG. Failure to return the equipment (or part thereof) may be grounds for termination of the warranty and/or suspension of any future advance exchange privileges until such outstanding defective equipment has been returned.
